Goodreads Book Description

A read about a teenage girl who wakes up in a hospital bed and cannot remember the last six weeks of her life, including the accident that killed her best friend–only what if the accident wasn’t an accident?

Eighteen-year-old Jill Charron wakes up in a hospital room, leg in a cast, stitches in her face and a big blank canvas where the last 6 weeks should be. She comes to discover she was involved in a fatal accident while on a school trip in Italy three days previous but was jetted home by her affluent father in order to receive quality care. Care that includes a lawyer. And a press team. Because maybe the accident…wasn’t an accident. Wondering not just what happened but what she did, Jill tries to piece together the events of the past six weeks before she loses her thin hold on her once-perfect life.

Why I’m Excited

I definitely go through phases with the books that I read, and recently I’ve been in a mystery/thriller mood. Although I know I’m going to lose my mind (heh – sorry I couldn’t help it) with all of the anticipation of the character not knowing, and therefore me not knowing, what happened leading up to the accident, it’s going to be a good kind of anticipation that will (hopefully!) make this book unputdownable. The overall story sounds really intriguing, too, and there’s even some international travel (which is another thing I’m loving in my books right now)! I can’t wait to see if Jill is a good guy or a bad guy (I’m kind of hoping bad guy).

So Tell Me

This is not my typical read but it looks SO good! I like the idea that it is a whodunit (sort of anyways) mystery but the character investigating it is the character in question. Very curious!! Thanks for sharing 😀

I’m totally into summery contemporary books right now (sorry not sorry so cute). The geekier/cuter the better, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell is my go to!

I have With Malice on my kindle but I haven;t got round to it yet. not long!! 🙂
