TTT – Fall TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This feature has a different (usually) book related topic each week, and the goal is to compose a list of ten things that correspond to the topic!

This week’s theme is:  Books on my Fall TBR List

The Young Elites, The Rose Society, and The Midnight Star

by Marie Lu

The struggle of holding off on reading these books until the whole series was published was really freakin’ hard, ya’ll. This series gets a lot of love, and when I fell behind on reading The Young Elites when everyone else did, I made the decision to be the outlier and wait until the whole series was published before picking it up. So, on October 11th, I can finally start my binge reading!

The Queen of the Tearling, The Invasion of the Tearling, and The Fate of the Tearling

by Erika Johansen

Another series I’ve been holding out on reading until I can fully indulge. I stumbled across The Queen of the Tearling in my local bookstore some time ago, and the beauty of the actual book caught my attention. The story itself seems thrilling, and while I have heard some mixed reviews about it, I’m not letting them cloud my judgement. My first impressions are usually pretty good, so I’m sure I’m going to enjoy this series enough to have made the wait worth it.

The Goal by Elle Kennedy

If you haven’t read the Off Campus series yet, then shame on you! Although these are standalone novels, they follow a group of college hockey players and their romantic pursuits. These are total guilty pleasures for me! I read the first three in the series so quickly that it was borderline embarrassing. Just downloaded this last book to my Kindle today, so I’m fully anticipating no sleep tonight.

The Forgetting by Sharon Cameron

This was included in my September Uppercase box. This was the first time that I received a book that I hadn’t previously heard of, and I’m SUPER EXCITED ABOUT IT. I used to be so good at picking up books on a whim, but now that I’m a little more involved and aware of what’s happening in the book world, I struggle with picking up books that I haven’t known about or been anticipating the release of. After reading what this was all about, it sounds unique and fun, and I’m really looking forward to it.

Replica by Lauren Oliver

Did this one make everyone’s list? I feel like the answer to that is yes. No shame. I feel like the fact that it’s Lauren Oliver is enough of a reason to be excited, but the uniqueness of this book (although I will admit I’m still a tad bit confused by it) has me eager to get my hands on it. I love different! Bring it on.

Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake

So I’ve actually gone back and forth on this one a few times. I started out not wanting to read it, but then it kept popping up everywhere so I thought about it again and decided I wanted to read it. Almost just as quickly I changed my mind again, but now I’m back to wanting to read it. It’s getting pretty great reviews from people that I trust, and the synopsis of this is just so damn intriguing! I just don’t think I’m going to be able to stay away.

So Tell Me

What are some of the most anticipated books on your fall TBR list?
